Lily and Rose at The Park Farmhouse

Lily and Rose had a great time at thePark FarmhouseWedding Fayre in Castle Donington yesterday.  It's such an amazing venue, really quirky and unique and is the perfect setting for  vintage china! We had a brilliant position in the large barn up on the balcony so the iron railings were festooned with our beautiful shabby chic floral print bunting,  The gilt-edged china was twinkling prettily under the atmospheric lighting. We met some really lovely brides-to-be and their entourages some planning their special day for 2014!

Monday Morning!!

So...Monday morning unpack china from Wedding Fayre..great to connect with some brides-to-be and families and lovely wedding suppliers, including Karen fromClassy Cupcakes! Now re-pack china for Friday's event at Oban House, Beeston Voluntary Action AGM, lots of bunting required! AND pack for a post-wedding afternoon teaparty on Sunday....lovely, lovely, lovely. Good thing we have soooooooooo much china, might have to get my floorboards reinforced! Check out  www.lilyandrosevintagechina.com

Lily & Rose at The Emporium

Lily and Rose are very excited to have a beautiful vintage style wedding reception table set up at The Emporium, a stunning shop at The Courtyard, Draycott, Derbyshire.  Thanks to Helen and Sally (Honeysuckle and Castle) for giving us the opportunity to display our vintage china in such a lovely setting.

Vintage Garden Party in Beeston

On 21st July, Lily and Rose Vintage China Hire organized a vintage Tea Garden in the grounds of Oban House (home of Broxtowe Voluntry action) in Beeston, Nottingham, to raise funds for Breast CancerCcare and Broxtowe Voluntry Action.  See The Nottingham evening post for more details. The event proved very sucessful, and further fund raising events are planned by popular demand.  We will be at Oban house again on the afternoon of October 14th with a beautiful "pop-up" vintage tea room to mark the AGM of Broxtowe Voluntry Action.  Everyone is welcome!

Autumn and Winter Weddings

Are you wondering what to do with your wedding guests after the ceremony and before the reception?? Why not warm them up with a lovely cup of tea, served in beautiful English Vintage China.  Most churches have suitable rooms/halls to set up a  beautiful vintage linen- covered tea table with serried ranks of pretty china teacups and saucers, jostling with milk-filled jugs and sugar bowls with tongs, piles of teaplates and cake-stands filled with delicious cakes and pastries to ward off the autumn chills!

Vintage Lily

Lily is celebrating five year "all clear" from breast cancer treatment, thanks to the research and work of charities like Breast Cancer Care there is now more hope for sufferers of this terrible disease.

Vintage English China Outings!

Our lovely old ladies (beautiful cups and saucers) and their companions have enjoyed some typical Vintage English events this last weekend in the Derbyshire countryside and elsewhere.  They are now home and thoroughly washed and repacked ready for their next outing! Lily & Rose have been busy washing up, laundering our lovely vintage linens and making sure everything is spic and span for the next vintage teaparty!
