Lily and I (Rose) met at Trent Vineyard church in Nottingham in 2007 while we were both receiving treatment for breast cancer.  We quickly became good friends and felt that we would love to start a business together.  We have a common passion for all things vintage and pretty as well as a love of good old fashioned English afternoon cream teas.   It occurred to us that if we expanded our own collections of vintage china we could hire it out for others to enjoy.  We set about collecting vintage teapots, milk jugs, sugar bowls and sugar tongs, cake stands, beautiful hand embroidered table linen and much more and so Lily and Rose Vintage China Hire was born! We now have enough china for vintage weddings, or other vintage parties with up to 150 guests, but are just as happy to supply mix-matched china tea sets for cosy tea parties for two!
